"A good photographer will capture memories in a way you'll be able to appreciate forever.

On the wedding day I like to let things flow with the absolute minimum of set-up photography. I want to make the whole experience as enjoyable as possible for the couples I shoot, as well as for their guests. It’s why I use a natural reportage style: the day is captured as it happens - from the preparations to the first dance - organically and authentically.

It is no secret that happy, calm people look better in pictures. Photography should be a collaborative process and I absolutely see myself a team player in your day.

Couples always like to meet up for a chat before they commission me, or touch base on Skype. It’s a chance to ask any questions you may have and flick through some recent wedding commissions. This is also a brilliant opportunity for me to gain an insight into the vision you have of your day, as well as your broader expectations of the photography.

Of course, there will be family shots to record and these are done quickly, quietly and without fuss. I like to let the day breathe and produce an accurate record of the atmosphere and detail. The result is a master set of 300-400 different images, presented edited and print ready.
