A couple of years ago I featured an amazingly talented cinematographer, Roland Mihalszky who came over from his native Hungary to film my own wedding in 2013. Given that our anniversary looms I thought we would continue this thread with another supplier who really stood out for Ruth and myself.

So, meet Ben The Illustrator

Way back when we started planning our wedding, we wanted an invitation which was funny, different and eye-catching. Ruth wanted to base the illustration on a 1950s-style advert but wanted Ben to make it more personal to us. It was absolutely perfect and mirrored the way we approached the day - namely, to have some fun.

We still love what he did and are in the process of getting a giant print of the invitation framed for the house. It's a great, humorous take on the old ads from decades ago and so many friends and family commented on it. For the record, my wife's halo is entirely fictitious.
