This shoot has been hanging around on the system for a while, mainly because I had to wait to blog them as a condition of Martha Stewart Weddings publishing a selection right after the wedding. It has been a favourite shoot for many reasons ; the couple, the location, the laid-back feel. Nice to finally get them live...
Syon Park House is set in around 200 acres of parkland and belongs to the Duke of Northumberland. The Great Hall has long been a stylish wedding location for those couples who really want to put on a show. Then just when the guests think it can't get any better, people are directed to wander around to the Great Conservatory, which for me is the real jaw-dropper.
It's fair to say I loved the day. Christy and Derek had invited an extremely interesting congregation of family and friends, plus set their day in a setting which would inspire any photographer. With beautiful attention to detail in the planning the shoot came together like clockwork with tons of large and small moments threading through my usual people-centric content.
